2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Fiber Frenzy, because it occurs in January, is one of the best shows for displaying and promoting the Pygora goats of all fleece types in full fleece.  Last year we had many inquiries from folks who wanted to view finished products made from Pygora fiber but there was not much available.  This year we plan on having a display booth which will feature finished products made from Pygora fiber as well as various skeins of Pygora yarn for viewing.  In addition, as always, there will be a booth at which Pygora fiber, both processed and raw, can be sold to the public.  Please consider bringing your finished products (hats, mittens, felted items, scarves, etc) and your skeins of Pygora yarn to add to our display booth.  Click HERE for Pygora products display booth information.  

This is our ninth year for the Fiber Frenzy and, just like everything else, expenses and costs seem to creep up each year.  We are seeing an increase in costs in the following areas:  Insurance, building rental, advertising costs, panel fees (for animal pens), office supplies and postage, show supplies and ribbons, duct tape, tarps, straw, etc. As many of you know, each year our goal is to have the show break even.  Last year with the help of raffle donations and cash donations from some individual sponsors, after all expenses were paid, there was only $42 remaining in the show fund. 

So, How Can you Help?…………. 

We’ve designed three levels of “Sponsorship” that, in addition to helping with show costs, will provide some value added options for animal exhibitors and vendors.  By purchasing one of these levels of sponsorship you will be supporting this show by helping with costs, gain farm recognition for your herd and enhance your marketing efforts, and you will be educating the buying public by allowing this event to continue each year.  Click HERE for details about our 2003 Sponsorship program. 

If you are unable to participate in any one of the three levels of sponsorship, please consider a cash donation of any amount to help offset this year’s increased costs. 

We will once again be holding a raffle during the lunch hour of the show and we encourage everyone to bring your special item donation.
