OREGON'S 9TH ANNUAL FIBER FRENZY & PYGORA GOAT SHOW

On Saturday, January 11th, 2003 the 9th annual Pygora Goat Show & Fiber Frenzy will be held once again at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon.  This show has been held in January as it is a great time for the Pygora goats to be shown in their winter's best fleece.

The show is focused on featuring the Pygora goats and their fiber, and it includes a full range of sanctioned shows for all ages of animals.  This show is also the largest senior buck show in the U.S.  It's a chance for breeders to show off their bucks and the public to learn more about them.

Many people have seen the Pygoras at County and State fairs.  This winter show allows people to see the animals in all of their full, fluffy fleece.  I think anyone that comes to the show soon finds out why this is "The goat that everyone is talking about!"

At the show, there are vendors with hand spun yarns, fabulous fibers, crafts, and all sorts of fun stuff for sale.  Spinning wheels and spinning demonstrations along with fiber booths give people the opportunity to see first hand how the fiber from these beautiful animals is used.

The whole family is encouraged to come as well as crafters and the curious!!!  Stop on in and join the fun!!!  Everyone is welcome!
